Family Behavior Therapy Training

Family Behavior Therapy (FBT) is an evidence-based treatment developed in clinical trials funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the National institute on Mental Health. FBT has demonstrated enhanced outcomes in reducing adult and adolescent substance abuse, mood disorders, posttraumatic stress, child maltreatment potential, conduct disorders, HIV risk behavior and other problems affecting adolescents and adults. FBT has also led to significant improvements in employment, school attendance, sport performance, family and relationship cohesion and psychiatric functioning.
