Wellness Workshops


When facing difficult live events or even day to day stressors, it can be so helpful to know we are not alone. Wellness groups connect people in similar circumstances and allow for connection on a variety of topics. Most groups also have a skills-based component while facilitating discussion among peers.
LeadHERship Club
This group experience will provide participants with the tools to achieve the following goals:

Enhance ability to communicate effectively and get more of what is desired in life

Learn the different types of communication and how to identify them in self and others

Utilize assertive communication skills

Make requests of others using effective strategies

Be proactive in achieving goals

Develop a Strength-Based/Growth Mindset

Learn how to identify personal strengths in one’s self and others

Use strengths to learn and grow into your ideal self

Share appreciation and genuine compliments with others to build relationships

Ensure personal thinking patterns are positive and goal-oriented to reduce anxiety and build confidence

Make decisions wisely

Utilize brainstorming, evaluating and visualization to make decision with positive outcomes.

Take power over the external environment (e.g., home, school, community) to create a space that empowers and motivates self

Manage Stress Appropriately

Identify and use effective coping strategies

Learn calming strategies, such as diaphragmatic breathing and mindfulness to prevent stress before it starts

Overcome adversity

Developing grit and the ability to carry on despite difficulties and hardships

Accept imperfections and increase gratitude

Seek support from role models and leaders
